Shamus at Twenty Sided posted about an interesting personality test / ‘Player Satisfaction Model’ for video gamers.
I think that it would be interesting to see what friends that I regularly play with score, so please try it out and post your results as a comment 🙂
Here are my results;
Your BrainHex Class is Achiever.
You like collecting anything you can collect or doing everything you possibly can as well as finding strange and wonderful things or finding familiar things.
According to your results, there are few play experiences that you strongly dislike.
Your scores for each of the classes in this test were as follows:

Edit: Just a note on my results, I would generally agree with the rankings.
I do like exploring and collecting, although I would have expected the order of the top three to be Seeker – Mastermind – Achiever. This is why role-play games like Morrowind, Fallout 3, and The Saboteur, fascinate me, there is a huge landscape to explore, lots of things to find and collect, difficult vantage points to reach, etc.
I can understand why I got such a low Socialiser score. I do not think that I am a generally sociable person. But in multiplayer games I will usually play support classes, such as the medic in Team Fortress 2, or switch to a class to fill a gap in the team roster. In multiplayer I am usually focusing on helping the group rather than personal goals, which can lead to personal frustration when others are not playing as a team.
So, now you know a little more about what makes me tick 🙂
